Full Description
The Wangen TWN 104 is a hygienic twin-screw positive-displacement pump designed for reliable, low-pulsation and gentle transfer of products ranging from low to very high viscosity.
Its contact-free twin-screw pumping principle reduces shear forces and helps protect the consistency, structure and appearance of sensitive products. The pump offers high suction performance and reversible operation, making it suitable for tank emptying, loading, unloading, recirculation and product recovery.
The wide operating-speed range allows the pump to handle both process products and cleaning liquids. Subject to the installed seals and configuration, the unit may therefore be used for product transfer as well as CIP circulation.
The pump is mounted on a mobile support frame and equipped with an electric motor, local variable-speed inverter and stainless-steel sanitary process components, as shown in the photographs.
A smaller Wangen TWN 70 pump is also available and may be purchased separately or together with this unit.
