Full Description
The Wangen TWN 70 is a hygienic twin-screw positive-displacement pump designed for the reliable and gentle transfer of products ranging from low to very high viscosity.
Its twin-screw operating principle provides low-pulsation and low-shear product handling, helping to preserve the structure, consistency and quality of sensitive products. The pump can operate in both directions and offers strong suction performance, making it suitable for tank emptying, product transfer, loading and unloading applications.
The wide operating-speed range allows the same pump to be used for both product transfer and CIP circulation, subject to the installed drive, seals and specific configuration.
The unit is mounted on a mobile support frame and is equipped with an electric motor, local variable-speed inverter and stainless-steel sanitary process components, as shown in the photographs.
A Wangen TWN 104 pump is also available and may be purchased separately or together with this unit.
