PRODUCTION CHARACTERISTICS

• Produces saturated and pyrogens free steam, in accordance with the International Pharmacopeias and the CGMP-FDA
• The feed water is pumped from the lower part of the evaporation column and into the DTS exchanger (pipes side) connected to it, while a special level transmitter guarantees the constant level in the evaporation column
• The heating fluid enters the shell side of the DTS exchanger and goes to the recovery through a steam trap, as the heated tube bundle determines a convective motion of the water, bringing it to the evaporation temperature
• The steam is sent to the evaporation chamber; then it reverts to the lower part of the column and back to the tube bundle thanks to the convective motion. A second system of separation of water droplets in the higher part of the column allows to have good quality pure steam
